bigger oil filter

Re: bigger oil filter
I have used the Mobil 1, M1-104 (called for the M1-110) on my wife's 05 2.4 Accord since its very first oil change. Must work okay 'cause it's got near 115,000 miles on it now.
Oh, and that's the same filter I've used on my 93 Civic for as long as they have been on the market.

Re: bigger oil filter
I believe you can run an s2000 filter.
My wife's 08 TL (v6) takes the same Honda filter as my 01 civic so I don't think the size matters to much. Iirc all Hondas/Acuras take the same OE filter except for the NSX and s2000?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: bigger oil filter
Why?
What advantage do you perceive a bigger can will give you?

moved thread out of the "Basic Engine Performance" because bigger oil filter have no relation to engine performance, much less to basic engine performance, such as CAI and other bolt-ons.
unfortunately OP did not have any understanding on reading either.
