Exclamation Lithium White Grease 4 exterior weatherstrip?

I am wondering if lithium white grease is a good lubricant for my exterior weatherstrips? I know some greases and oils can swell rubber, but a master tech told me that lwg is okay for the exterior weather strips... I haven't been able to find anything online to support his statement.
Let me know if you've done this before.. thanks in advance

Re: Lithium White Grease 4 exterior weatherstrip?

white lithium grease is for metal parts. for rubber, silicone spray is good cause it will not harm the material and it also dries clear. its easier if you spray it on a towel and then wipe the rubbers. white lithium stays in its grease form without drying and is white/beige color. that stuff is good for the metal door hinges and stuff.
