when should I change timing belt

I have a 2003 civic. I got very confused after reading the manual because one paragraph suggests changing timing belt every 100,000 Km while a table says 110,000 miles (176,000Km). that is a huge difference! what should I do?
thanks for your suggestions.

Re: when should I change timing belt

100k miles is about right. 90k for pre 01, 110k for post 01.

Re: when should I change timing belt

thanks to all of you.
when the condition is extreme, do it every 100,000 Km. extreme means temperature is 110 F/ -20 F
i think i can go a little beyond 100,000Km, but not hit 110,000 Miles.
