Some people say armor all actually strips the coating or protective stuff on the interior, has anyone else heard that it will actually harm your interior?

yeah, if you ask pretty much anyone that details cars, they will tell you its better just to wipe your dash off, and that it is one of the worst products on the market.

I use it every now and then to shine up the dash and doors but when it gets dusty I just wipe it off. So far my dash is just fine and its been almost 2 years of using the stuff.

i used it alot and nothing happened. switched to turtle wax protectant but way too shiny. i'm just gonna let it fade hopefully and just use on doors from now on. i like turtle wax cause rain doesn't ruin it and make it run.

i use this stuff to and its SUPER shinny. the sun reflects off the dash and onto the windshield and blinds the hell out of my eyes, i almost hit people a several times

and yeah, it lasts forever.

^^^ same here. I have started using just the cleaner wipes because of that.
No problems here as far as it hardening the dash.

armor all isnt that bad. there are much worse products on the market that many people use, a lot on this board probably use them. its a water based product, so because of that its already better than a lot of the stuff you see on the shelves.

i've been using armor all on my car for the past 5 years...my dash is still in good condition. I was thinking of switchin to that turtle wax stuff but apparently everyone thinks it's too shiny...i'll stick to armor all...for now.

I've used it on every car except the civic, due to the blinding from the black dashboard. Never had any problems. I think you'd be worse off without it. Without it you get cracks from drying out.
