I filled my tank this morning: 11.97 gallons for 719 miles. Almost 60 mpg exactly.
Since the weather has turned nicer, I have been able to approach 60 mpg regularly.
My average (year round) mpg is 53.1 mpg. I use sythentic 0w20 (Mobil 1) and do a mix of highway (75) and country (25) road driving.

98% Commuter, 20 miles one-way to work, + girlfriend lives same distance. To and from work i drive between 70-82, and at 2 o clock in the morning when dropping off gf it's 80+
I - aem cai, converted to sri for winter, / H- dc - 4-2-1 / E - DC TCS - 17inch low profile MR7's - Tein SS coils with 1.5 inch drop, cambers etc etc. also... heavy *** kenwood amp and box, soon to be replaced.
-5w-30 synthetic, every 3,000 on the dot or less

most important thing is tires...
make sure your tires are near 30psi check them at least one amonth...this will help imo the most...if you check them once a week i can almost guarantee you will never get blow out a tire because you will notice the slow leaks before they turn into catastrophic failure..ie blown tire...

I have 66K miles , consistently get 34-35 mpg, rarely bring rpms above 4000. I plan on getting 200k miles out of her. All stock, except I had a K&n installed for awhile. I have only had the oil changed once somewhere other than my garage. No problems with this car except broken driver window and coin holder. Next maintenance item will be brakes but they are still at 1/4 inch.I use 5w20. castrol and nippon oil filters.
Oh yeah 800 miles on a tank you must have an Insight or something even the hybrid would barely get that...sighs.

50's..... My aunt is at 56 MPG right now, and no that's not a hybrid either.

Proper maintenance, lower speeds, slower starts, anticipating and timing lights. Use A/C as little as possible
on tv i saw a guy get a record 113 miles per gallon with the prius, but a civic is not THAT bad

2004 Honda Civic Coupe, manual
-what grade gasoline? (IE: 87 reg, 89 plus, etc)
87 Regular Unleaded
-how are your driving habits? (granny, tracking, fairly hard, highway, city, include details)
I'm usually hard, mostly doing 75-80+ mph on the highways... around town, like a granny with energies.
-what are your mods (only state the mods that could affect mileage IE: intake, exhaust, wheels, etc)
Nada.

Wow, I do not remember what I used. My memory fails me. I was planning to change it to 5W-40 for the next one, btw.

Check for correct tire pressure. Plan trips. Don't drive unnecesarily.

When people are in my car... i drive her hard to scare the **** out of them, and at times i pull my ebrake so it looks like i drift

Injen SRS, Tein S. Techs, 16" Rota GT3s w/ 205/45/16s

5w20 or 30 i forget... 19933 miles...
