post your mileage
I filled my tank this morning: 11.97 gallons for 719 miles. Almost 60 mpg exactly.
Since the weather has turned nicer, I have been able to approach 60 mpg regularly.
My average (year round) mpg is 53.1 mpg. I use sythentic 0w20 (Mobil 1) and do a mix of highway (75) and country (25) road driving.

most important thing is tires...
make sure your tires are near 30psi check them at least one amonth...this will help imo the most...if you check them once a week i can almost guarantee you will never get blow out a tire because you will notice the slow leaks before they turn into catastrophic failure..ie blown tire...

I have 66K miles , consistently get 34-35 mpg, rarely bring rpms above 4000. I plan on getting 200k miles out of her. All stock, except I had a K&n installed for awhile. I have only had the oil changed once somewhere other than my garage. No problems with this car except broken driver window and coin holder. Next maintenance item will be brakes but they are still at 1/4 inch.I use 5w20. castrol and nippon oil filters.
Oh yeah 800 miles on a tank you must have an Insight or something even the hybrid would barely get that...sighs.

I have an 04 EX AUTO.
I have an aem v2 intake.
Most of my driving is stop and go . . . I only floor it when I "need" to.
My average gas mileage is about 26 mpg.

-What vehicle is it?
2004 Honda Civic DX with AC Manual Coupe
-What grade gasoline?
87 Octane / Chevron with Techron
-How are your driving habits?
Drive with load, drive without brakes, shut off engine if coasting more than 30 seconds, 5th gear pulse and bleed, 50 PSI in all four tires and the will to treat gas like gold.
-What are your mods?
Completely changing my driving style, high fuel economy is my most important factor.
-What grade motor oil was used when this record of mileage was counted?
5W-30 Honda stock oil, oil level filled between MAX and MIN levels.
-tips/advice on how to save gas or anything else that is neccesary!
get up to speed, get a fuel economy indicator (like scangauge), control your throttle input, anticipate red lights and learn to conserve your momentum so that you can make it through the light without stopping, driving with load (when climbing a hill, I do not increase throttle input to maintain speed), and bump starting when my coasting speeds has reached to its minimum.
Average gas mileage used to be 35, now starting to climb into their 40's and soon 50's when I refine my techniques. AND NO I DO NOT DRIVE A HYBRID, i can get mileage just fine WITHOUT THEM.

-What grade gasoline?
87 Octane / Whatever's Cheapest!
-How are your driving habits?
Rarely downshift, shift at 3K RPMS except while merging onto freeway, then shift at 5K RPM's until at speed. Generally drive 10MPH above speedlimit
-What are your mods?
I have 1 12" woofer and box in the trunk, and 19" Konig Absolute wheels that are heavy as a bitch!
-What grade motor oil was used?
5W-30 Penzoil done at Midas since I bought the car w/22,000 Miles on it.
-MPG
I used to get around 385 miles per tank city/highway, and my best has been 425 miles per tank STRAIGHT HIGHWAY. But since I installed the wheels I get around 340 miles per tank. I have that crappy thing where the gas guage isn't very accurate below a quarter tank...
-Odometer?
~50,000 (I know it's a lot for an '05, it's all highway!!! My wife used it to commute 7hrs a day 3 times a week to college, plus 1 trip to Louisiana that was 21 hours each way!)
-Tips/advice on how to save gas or anything else that is neccesary!
Keep it below 3K RPM's and lay off the downshifting. I brake really easily as well so as not to wear down my pad's quickly. Tire pressure is checked every week and kept at 32PSI. Change oil every 3,000 miles and oil filter.
