Ok guys, took from 11am till 6:30 pm but ill be d@mned we got done!

Took headlights apart again and painted a part blue so now headlights r blue/white. Installed intake and took off the REAL valve cover and painted it blue and i took apart my altezzas and painted them white as well AND i made the "VII" symbol and put that on where ur DX/LX/EX symbol goes.....looks f*ckin sweeeeeeeet!!!

Im sendin the pics to AEM so he can post for u peeps, and if he EVER tells he how he makes em shrink ILL post em.

Time to hit the showers!!!

1 bad thing guys, the part i painted blue on my headlights killed my light output at night, i can see but i gotta be careful lol. Do u guys know if foglights give off a good bit of light?

What up Pearl!
How do I shrink the pics down? Well, I open up the pic in Paint (Start>Programs>Accessories>Paint), then I click on "Image" (at the top), then "Stretch/Skew". When that box comes up, you want to change the values for the Horizontal and Vertical fields. You just add the percentage that you want to shrink or stretch the pic. For example if you have a picture open, and it's hella big, you enter "50" in both fields and it will shrink the pic down to 50% of it's original size. Now if you want to make it bigger, you'd enter a number greater than 100, because you want it bigger than 100%. Got it? After you resize it, save it. You can find the file in Explorer, right click it, go to properties, and it will tell you how big the file is. The file has to be smaller than 50kb to upload. If you don't want to mess with the whole properties thing, then you can try to upload it. If it doesn't upload, then go back, shrink it some more, save it again, and try to upload again. If you don't want to f*ck with any of this ****, then send em to me. I'll be here until 5:00 tomorrow morning, and I check my AOL mail every 10 minutes. If you send them before 5:00, send them to my work address.
As for the lights, I know alot of people that drive with only their fog lights on most of the time. So yeah, you can see with just the fog lights on. Maybe if you converted over to HID, they'd be a bit brighter. I dunno?[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

Todd, i asked all those people that i have to ask when you ask me a guestion about cars, and they told me to ask you. how hard is it to put on vinyl graphics. i have never done it, should i give it a try or let someone else do it

I have no experience with that kind of graphics. Or any kind of graphics for that matter. But I do know that it's just putting on a sticker. Clean the area real good first and the hardest part is lining it up like you want it. And obviously, the bigger the graphic, the harder it is to install. How big are they? How much would someone that knows what they're doing charge you to put them on? I guess if the price is good, you should just pay them and let them put em on for you.

1 prob with the headlights, because i used a dark color for the main headlight it absorbs the light so my lights arent nearly as bright as before, i can see but now i have to pay real close attention [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

Im gonna get fogs real soon which will fix everything and then ill just put HID's in and ill be PeArLfect!

Hope u guys like what ive done, and gimmie ur honest opinions, if u dont like thats cool, im just really curious to hear what ya'll think bout it.

pearl i really like what you have done so far, but i really want to see the car from a side/front angle and side/back angle. and if you have anythong, opps, anything done to the inside show me that too. i am bout to leave and go and get my screen installed, i will try to take pics of it when i get back and post them.

aight, tomorrow is uhhh saturday, im gonna wash it and then ill take both those pics, been fooling around with shrinking the pics so i SHOULD be able to post for ya so u can see the rims and everything else all flowing together. Interior wise ive just installed gauges and neons and made almost ALL my dash lights blue. Tryin to think of stuff i can do to the interior to really make it stand out but only thing i can think of is painting the interior or changing the color of my interior and there isnt a shop round here that can do either [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

ok, i just got my screen put in today. i put it right in front of the rear view mirror. it fits perfect. some might think that it is too close to the driver, but i have to drive with my gangsta lean in my seet, so it is in the right spot. when my brother gets home, i will get his digi cam and go and take some pics for you. it will be a little later cause him and his wife just left to go and buy a 2003 eclipse gts spyder[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]

oh yeah, when i had the screen installed, the installer pulled my car into his bin and ran over a tool box with my car and scratched my front bumper up a little bit and the owner sold me the dvd player at half price ( $100 ) below his cost, so that he wouldnt have to paint my bumper. that was cool with me cause in am getting the octane front with i get back to louisiana. i got the hook ;up[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] plus free install on screen

The 1st pic is the Altezzas and they r painted white, some peeps say its hard to tell but there is a DISTINCT difference between white and chrome.

The next 2 pics are the front and i took both cause the sun was REALLY pissin me off so i hope the glare isnt bad and u can really see how it meshes with the car.

Now u guys can see and tell me if u like it and if u think it flows with the car.

Luz man i was scared $hitless 1st time i took em apart but im so use to it now thats its nothin at all to do. I can clear ur lights in prolly 15-30 mins tops, ill do it for ya too if we meet and u havent done it yet hehe.

I thought the car looked friggin sweetwith just reg cleared lights but i want mine to stand out and i think im accomplishing that 1 step at a time. Hope u like the pics and gimmie some feedback

its tight, and i think that you could put it out there in a few shows. the 2k1 and 2k2 that i saw at HIN in new orleans were not anymore drastic that yours.. as far as winning stuff, judges might want a little more custom detail.. dont get me wrong, i think that the lights look tight as hell and you can tell that you took a lot of time on them, but judges might like to see the inside worked on too. get a body kit too

Oh thats DEFINATELY in the works, the BW2 is due SOMETIME this year and im tryin to find a shop for the interior. Im just goin by what ive done NOW, i bought Grey's camber kit and im gonna order the Greddy exhaust and goldline springs monday from Tornactive. Prolly order the APR flywing now and store it till body kit comes out and get a reduced price on the painting cause the more stuff i have to paint the better the deal ya know? thx for the feedback JW, did AEM get to FLA ok?

Went to the import get together down here and peeps loved the headlights haha. Its funny cause the way the parking goes, its fine a$$ cars at one end and crap ones at the other, so basically it goes from lowest to highest, i started in the middle and ive inched my way up to alittle past half way hahaha i laughed about it last night cause my friends and i just caught on to it.
