[exhaust] 2002 EX OEM resonator question
Is the oem resonator the same part for both an automatic and a manual? My local, tiny shop is having trouble finding a resonator in stock locally for my 5-sp. In all the shopping at online stores I've done tonight, I haven't found one site including this one that's mentioned there are two different parts.
Thanks!

Try a parts catalog.
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/
Here's what I see:
EX and GX sedans share the same pipe/resonator ("B" pipe). 18220-S5D-A03
EX and HX Coupes use the same as above 18220-S5D-A03
Manual trans HX Coupe uses a different number B pipe.
I can't tell you what the differences are though, all I can see is numbers in a catalog.
LX and DX, coupes and sedans, are completely different from EX due to location of the cat.

Thanks, it seems to be confirming what I've already found online - the guy's looking for a part that doesn't exist.
I wonder if the owner is on vacation...
