Re: 7th gen ball joint DIY
Very good DIY, Green. Thanks. Iam in the middle of a ball joint/front/rear lca bushing swapout. Been trying to do it without setting up my compressor, but after two days in, I am headed out tomorrow for a bushing press kit and an air hammer.
Cheers~!

Re: 7th gen ball joint DIY
I'm new here. Just bought an '02 LX and ended up replacing the passnger ball joint and axleshaft. Everything's back together and working. I used a greasable ball joint. The problem is - the 90* grease fitting that came with the ball joint is too tall to fit between the axleshaft and the ball joint. The straight fitting fits, but there's no way to put a grease gun on it with the axleshaft there. As I say everything is together, so it isn't an immediate need. Next time I get in there, though, I'd like to put in a more functional grease fitting. Does anyone have a recommendation for a grease fitting for it?
