New Shift Knob
New Shift ****
Well all, I just picked up an 8th gen shift **** for a great price and decided to install it on the EM2. It's great! I love it haha...since it says 6 speed, that just gives me more reason to swap soon >
The only problem that I have (it isn't really a problem but I'm somewhat ocd) is that the shift pattern sits 180 degrees backwards. I installed it with the lock nut.
So my question is, is it alright to install the shift **** without the lock nut?

Re: New Shift ****
Loosen the lock nut, back off the **** to the desired position, tighten the lock nut to hold the **** in place.
The **** does not NEED to be bottomed out on the threads.
