What is better? S.s. Adaper or kit?

Just like the title says. I see a lot of short throw shifter adapers out there as well as the whole assembly kit. What are the pros and cons of both? Im looking into the OBX kit, not adapter in paticular.

go with the revo racing short shifter its a whole assembly costs under 100 and wat a difference it makes and only takes 20 mins to install
