Quijano
I painted the outside. I put on 3 coats of tint. I originally planned on putting one coat of tint so it wont be completly black... just a little smoked out. After the first coat it looked a little smoked out but in the middle where the red reflector is turned pink when light hit it.
Thats why I made them really dark so the red reflector inside wont look pink through the tint.

i went on testors couple of mintues ago to buy items, came out to 17.35. Will be cheaper and work the same by going to kragen or somewhere that carries same product. Wat do you guys recommend?

It is REALLY REALLY hard to take apart the tail light to spray on the inside. I tried and ruined 1 of my stocks. Way harder than headlight. I have a pic of the difference. It really isnt that noticalble(sp). PM for a pic.

I have had mine since i got my car last may......infact i may have been the 1st coupe with them and the reverse lights still white.....i love it but am thinking about going back and redueing them....i hope paint remover will work on them.
Wnjoy but they look the best with black projectors or diy black headlights

One things guys...i dont recommend doing stock lights cause it will not be bright enough..
Yes you can leave the bulbs in...your just spraying the OUTSIDE lens of the tail light

i wish i knew about taping the lights. i have tycs and their dark. For the past day cars seem to be getting closer and closer and seem like their gonna hit me from behind. I dont know if its legal to have done this, so if someone hits me they will blame it on the dark lights and it will likely be my fault. During the week i drive in traffic and people dont pay attention, hopefully they will see me.
