My car: 2003 Honda Civic EX

I'm trying to install some cold cathodes and LEDs that will switch on when the doors open. I figure the easiest way to control that is with a relay coming off the ground wire from the overhead light (that way when the door is open, there's power flowing through that wire, and therefore to the relay, which turns on the lights).

Problem is, I have no idea which wire is the right one.

Anyone know which wire is the ground coming from the overhead light? And where would be a good spot somewhere under the dash to tap into it?

The grounding (and illumination) is provided through the MICU unit.

A while back someone tried to power a relay coil with the dome circuit... The dimming operation will make the relay go crazy as the voltage drops, and it is a PWM setup.

Leds can be utilized with dome circuit quite easily.
