Anything Happening?

Nobody racing or just not posting?? Ok, I'll go. Did my first autocross in rain this past Saturday (I feel sorry for those folks up in Seattle). The 'kooks had amazing grip, ran them lower than usual at 35f/31 rear to get them to heat up and it seemed to work. Still finished behind the same cars/drivers but higher points than usual, either an indication of improvement or maybe less grip helped the fwd cars. I noticed top rwd cars had troubles all day even in drying conditions and fast pax was set by a GS Cooper. The various subies didn't rule the day which was surprising.

Any 7th gens going to Nationals?

I came in 6th out of 19. Was in 4th but the girl after me beat my time. I probably would have come in 7th but one guy's car broke down. This is the best I have ever done and earned 4 points! Nationals, here I come...hahaha!

I'm not sure you can always count on it, but it never hurts to get lucky!

Hey Robbclark, I noticed you're using Energy Suspension bushings on an RSX rear bar; do those bushings fit OK in the stock u-bracket? While I was under the back of my car with one side compressed and the other at full droop I noticed how much the stock rubber donut deforms and I'm thinking it can't be good for transitional response ie slaloms.

Rain is the Great equilizer... meaning it will easlily seperate the good drivers from the hacks (those who rely on chassis choice and tuning to be fast rather then skill)... so if you were closer in time.. then you're doing pretty good.
