Alignment makes a huge difference. I have so much more grip now than I did last year its not funny. Slightly softer springs and more camber made the difference. I'm pretty sure I picked up like a second and a half over last year. Now it was a test and tune, so everyone was rusty, on dead tires from last year and hitting cones like they were growing from the pavement, but if you narrow it down to the clean runs, 1-5 was less than 0.9 sec apart. I wound up 5/10, behind some really good drivers. So not bad. Clearly the car works, it felt very balanced and neutral through the corners. Playing with konis didn't take long. I settled on 1/4 turn from soft rears and about 2/3 of a turn from soft on the fronts. Problem was the tires never got hot cuz its still kinda cool here. Oh well. I got my ******* out. On to the track day next weekend now that the car is all shook out.
