For wet traction they are top knotch, Dry.... They are over hyped and over rated.
If you really want a Yokohama, the ES100 would be better in the dry and the AVS Sport would be even better.

I assume this is for a 17? and what is your price range + how often do you want to have to get new tires + How much Dry traction do you want + how much wet traction do you want.

yeah its for a 17 ... im lookin for around $95-100 a tire ... they have to be good enough for daily driving but i Auto X every month so I want better traction than just average ol kumhos (wich i have). Wet traction is a bit important since its always raining down here, and I live in an area that has big issues with flooding .. wich made me think the parada since they'll beat my kumhos in dry and wet, but isn't too far out of my price range.
215/40 is really the size i need since how i have my suspension setup .. any bigger tire and I'll have to reajust my height and camber

Well, you can pick up a set of Kumho MX for about 115 at the Tire Rack (on special!)
The Yokohama ES100 Is about $100, and it will beat the Parada Spec2 (Tire Rack)
the Sumitomo HTRZ II would be a pretty good tire.. only $95 (Tire rack)
the Dunlop SP Sport FM901 May be an option also $95 at the tire rack.
of all of these the kumho MX will be the stickyist, but will also wear out the fastest, with autocross and street driving.. Sub 15,000 miles.

Some of them are, you just have to pick the right ones.... The HTR Z, I think, may be an excelent autocross tire, its got a tread wear of 160.. the HTR II is a bit harder but still should perform pretty well.
I use to race with a guy that ran Sumitomos exclusivly (HT50s), Boilermaker Races with him now.

THe Neogens are a good tire. They corner very well and have a high grip in the wet/dry conditions. Never tried them autocrossing though. I have the 205/40/17 and they are under $100 a tire.
