Just bought this beauty:

2005 EX Special Edition, 127k miles and a 5-speed.

My username comes from the fact that I do not like Jeeps, yet I love offroading and "Overlanding" as it's called now. I've been exploring backroads since I could remember, in the family Suburban and on my bike, and most recently, in my 99 GMC Yukon:

She is my pride and joy, but alas, she's too expensive anymore to be a daily driver with a 30 mile (one-way) commute, so I needed something smaller, hence the Civic.

I've never been much of a fan of small cars, (being 6'4" and 280 kinda does that) so when I finally broke down and went looking for a vehicle that is thriftier on gas than my dear Yukon, I had a few stipulations: could NOT be silver, white or pewter, and could NOT have a black interior. That wrote off 2/3'ds the cars on the road. So when I found this, in near perfect condition, for a good price, I jumped on it.

We'll see how this whole small car thing goes for me.

Welcome to the forum. Civic looks to be in great shape!

Off roasting is a fun, but I do love a twisting asphalt road!

Thanks, I'm not going to do much to it, just some fog lights, bronze tint the windows, a new stereo, and a 2-1/2" rolled edge chrome exhaust tip. I like to keep mods on my vehicles to a minimum and tasteful, I refuse to order from JCWhitney or other parts warehouse stick-on chrome junk.
