1998 Honda Civic Black on grey. SI front, SI wheels painted red calipers. 5 speed. Looks like another owner swapped out the D16Y8 for a D16Y7. Why they did that to loose the VTEC I have no idea. Been lowered on unknown lowing springs. Had projector headlights with HID low beam only. Angel eye's as well.

My plans are to make the body perfect and painted nicely. Was thinking of a black pearl paint. Not sure though.

What are you inputs on it?

Welcome! Looks good. I think the black pearl paint would be look nice. It would be cheaper to paint it that color also since it is already a dark color.

Since I love black, I would like to keep it around the same color because I don't want to pay extra to strip the whole car down to change the color of it. I do love the blue Civic SI color but I ended up getting this for $3000.

Do you know anything about prices on paint and body work?

I just know its expensive for good work. Macco is one of the cheapest and they do a decent job but for not much more you could get a better one. A decent one will be at least 1000 and depending on color closer to 2000.
