Hey Guys

Hey Guys

My "new guy" intro.

Well I just crashed my 91 hatch and have taken over the girlfriends 98 civic ( she rides an 08 now ), so I am here to source out what I have gotten into.

I have a 97 Prelude SH with a lot of work, 4 pt. cage, strut bars, alum. fly wheel, header, intake, 3in exhaust, remote battery, motor mounts etc..... that one is sleeping now...

My main car expense has been my 1986 GLHS , you won't know it and will have to look it up...

get back to me when you're read up

I am old... work as a chef and still race my motorcycles ( Aprilia's and Ducati's)

I need to tighten up my "new" 130k 6th gen, so I will be checking the suspension threads> I've got some ideas of what I want.

First is to find out why the fan, which was working on 3/4 only, has now quit completly.

Drop by say "hi"

Gene

Re: Hey Guys

Welcome aboard Gene!!

I have a KTM 450EXC that I keep to the dirt...had to sell my SV650s due to a small problem of wanting to twist the throttle on EVERY start LOL.

Re: Hey Guys

Sv650 thats a cool bike. I run a Aprilia RS 250 Cup bike. I find the Sv's have a touch more power than I do and I have to wrork a little harder on the brakes and in the turns to get around them. fun stuff!

I know what you mean about twisting it all the time. I really only ride the track now no street at all, other than a quick blast around the neigborhood it's been about 6 years since the steet.

I really like San Diego. I used to go in the winter to train.

Re: Hey Guys

I wish I would have gotten to take it to the track, I hear the SV does really well there. Its more fun at the track anyway I would imagine.
San Diego is pretty nice, I am not going to lie...LOL

Re: Hey Guys

Well you have some great riding around your area thats for sure. I feel bad for anyone that has not tried the track. It is nothing like the street...

Imagine redline shifts through everygear, using the brakes so hard the rear wheel hangs an inch off the ground, Skimming your knee across the tarmac, a very subtle drift of the rear wheel on exit of your turn, and the best part! having permission to go even faster if you dare!!
