New possible hatch owner
New possible hatch owner
Well, I got a '95 Accord EX sedan auto around 6 months ago and did minor things to it. After 3,000 miles or so it's been great! I drive it daily. It has shaved doors, trunk with sideways plate, alarm, remote start, ac and heat, cd player with great speakers. I've done EGR port cleaning, cat back, took it off air, and cleaned it up a bit. I like the car but my buddy drives a hatch and I thought I'd need the room but I've never needed it. Car has 180,000 miles, and a new TB. Here's a pic.

Here's the possible trade, it's a '97 Civic hatch EK, D15 with D16 non Vtec head, header, CX tranny for higher gear for highway, full Apexi exhaust, and it's on air. It is converted to OBD1, no AC, no cd player, 13in steelies but I keep my 17's and trade my Accord on steelies. Here's a pic. Should I do this trade? I'm going back and forth. I meet the guy in 3 days.
Edit
Here's his trade ad:
ive got a 97 civic ek hatch on air. its 4 1/2 valves in front and 2 1/2 valves in rear, the front does side to side and the rear is up and down. Its got a 5 gallon tank and a viair 444 compressor. The air ride is pretty fast. The motor is a jdm D15b block with a D16 non vtec head its nothing special really. Its converted to obd1. I just swapped in a cx tranny for longer gears for the interstate driving to save gas. It has a few bolt ons like short ram intake, header, and full apexi exhaust. It has a good tone to it and doesnt sound like other riced out hondas.
The body has a total of 3 dents on it (small!) It has a VIS carbon hatch and carbon duckbill spoiler. All the interior is in it and is probaly a 6 of 10.

I'm new but have posted on here. I bought a 2006 SI coupe new in 2006. I love the car but my wife has it now. It's been great after the years and miles, so I have no reason to be on here. '06 SI has 80,000-85,000 on it.

Re: New possible hatch owner
Well, mines dependable because it hasn't ever given me a reason to think different. The inside is missing both airbags, carpets nasty, and seats were from it being a smokers car, but other than that it's fine. Doors are ok, drivers doors is cracking where it was shaved and front pass is too. Hood needs paint and front bumper bottom was cut and is barely holding on rear needs paint. I have coilovers to lower it. Basically we trade and I give all the air and keep my wheels. I'm just not sure now.
