Lurker who finally Joined.. 1999 Civic EX 115k on it

Hey,
I have been a lurker here for a WHILE..I just got an Ipod Touch and was interested in ways to connect it to the stock head unit...I saw the aux hook up and read all the different opinions...
I decided to replace the head unit...With a Pioneer DEH-3300ub...From crutchfield b/c it comes with everything you need

Right now my baby is in the shop...I was driving home the other night and the "Worlds Brightest Driver" Tried to make a left hand turn from the right hand lane and cut off 2 lanes of traffic...I had to brake hard for the first time in years and 10 min later the Brake light came on...Pulled over and had no pressure on the brake...Examined the undercarriage and had fluid dripping from the center channel inside the plastic guard...

It gets better. The Rust from the ruptured line also had corroded 2 of the 3 fuel lines...So now i am having the brake line and fuel lines replaced and it's turned into a 3 day affair...and the Quote is $1,000 for the total repair.

I plan on driving this car for ever because I am so damn frugal. Wife gets a new car every 3 or 4 years and I want this to be my kids first car

Love my civic..I still get 33-35 mpg in the summer..and a mystery 26-28mpg in the winter..very odd...

Nice to meet you all..

1999 Civic EX w. 115K all new england miles. I am on my 6+ exhaust system because as you can tell by the mileage i have a very short commute and only do about 5,000 to 8,000 miles a year
