Yea, you're probably right.. I think my mind inserted the word "truck" in the first time I read the post about your 60s Ford
It's hit or miss for me. Sometimes it'll be slow as ****. Other times I'll have no complaints

Re: Howdy folks
Just to clear something up, the Vette is a sports car. Not a muscle car. The Vette only has 2 seats. Sorry to nitpick. We're learning about old school muscle at school and my teacher raged about it. Lol.

Re: Howdy folks
That's true. My uncle's '77 'vette is the closest thing to a muscle car I have a chance at tinkering with. Only reason I mentioned it.

The most compelling aspect of these models is that they are all cars, a segment of the market the domestics have tragically ignored over the past decade. I will go so far as to say "the American automakers are officially 'back'" and I certainly feel they are on the right track.
Now come the latest findings from a Consumer Reports reliability survey, in which American cars performed better than European and Japanese brands. This is the first time the domestics, as a group, have beaten the Europeans and Japanese on reliability ratings in 20 years. Of course, headlines across the news media, from USA Today to CBS, were blasting the findings across their front pages. "Detroit's Big Three Make Gains," reported CBSNews.com, while USA Today said, "USA beats Europe for reliability" in its headline. Sure enough, the Ford Focus was shown to have half as many problems as the BMW 7 Series. And the Buick Regal proved to be the most reliable "family sedan" in the survey, beating out Toyota's Camry and Honda's Accord.
