I don't think you can compare a smart car to a mini van.I don't get what you mean.I wouldn't ever drive a Smart Car or a minivan.Smart Car is a death trap if you get in an accident. The only time I'd drive a mini van is when going on a roadtrip and a lot of other people are going.

Re: Damn you Civic...
I would only drive a mini van if it was the Honda Stream which isn't available in the US.Or a Honda Odyssey powered by a K20A or K24,It's been done in Japan.

Re: Damn you Civic...
Touche.Hahahaha.It'll be soon. He's been saving up for a swap for almost a year now.I would totally drive a Fit even if it wasn't powered by a K20.What I don't get is,that Honda provides Mugen parts for the Fit optional, but not for the Si's.Strange,
Re: Damn you Civic...
The fits with the k swaps are beasts. And me and the wife was thinking bout getting a fit for our family car not to long ago but the funds are kinda tight. And they got the design of the fit from the ep3.

Re: Damn you Civic...
Yeah,I can see the resemblance of the Fit and the EP3.Just on a smaller scale and two more doors. The Fit would make a great family car if you had gotten one. There's much room inside both in front and back. The boot has a lot of space too.Not to mention it's also economical.I tried convincing my dad to get a Fit,but he refused to drive a Fit cause he said it was stupid and a piece of crap.Yet,he bought a Scion XD.This was back when they had that "Cash for Clunkers" promotion where you traded in your clunker "car with less than 18mpg" and you get an amount of money back.He traded in his Explorer and got $5,000,which is the maximum amount, for the XD.You and the wife bought an Integra DB7 right?
Re: Damn you Civic...
I was saying that there is no comparison between a vette and porsche. They're for totally different purposes. One is a musclecar that thinks it's a supercar and the other is just pure joy to drive.

Re: Damn you Civic...
I must disagree with you here. The Corvette is a super car,so is the Porsche. Both cars producing well over 500hp and have superb handling.Handling is the key to success. The power is just a necessity.Even though the Corvette weighs a lot,it handles fairly well. That's why some teams use it in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at Circuit De La Sarthe. This track is highly demanding with it's long straights, winding corners, and hidden obstacles. The C6 ZR1 marked 7:26.4 at Nurburgring while the Carrera GT marked 7:28.71,over 2 seconds slower. The C6 ZR1 was also faster than the GT-R,Zonda F,911 GT2,911 GT3,the new Lexus LFA,911 Turbo,458 Italia,F430,Murcielago LP460,Mclaren SLR,Ford GT,etc...Care to argue with that? This proves the Corvette is a super car.

Re: Damn you Civic...
Honestly,I don't even know anymore.Hahahah.Yes,Circuit De La Sarthe is a very difficult course. It demands extreme focus. For example, the chicanes,if you're not paying attention, you can run into the barriers at over 300kmp/h.It happened to me in GT4 when I was driving my M3 GTR.I definitely wanna pick up GT5,but I'm thinking about Reach and Black Ops too.

Re: Damn you Civic...
Perhaps you are talking about the Cadillac CTS-V marking 7:59.32 at the Nurburgring.I think this is the record for fastest sedan lap at Nurburgring. This is the only record I could find for Cadillac.

Re: Damn you Civic...
I was quite surprised the CTS-V marked a faster time than the M5.The M5 marked around 8:13.Looks like Cadillac knows what they're doing in the performance department. All they need now is a car that everyone can afford that still has great performance. All Cadillacs cost a lot I'm guessing above $40,000?Correct me if I'm wrong. All I know is the CTS costs more than a BMW 328i and my mom bought one for about $38,000.

Re: Damn you Civic...
Corvette is still considered a "sports car" i believe, though I think it should be considered a supercar
Honestly, I don't deny that it's a great car, but i'm not a muscle car kind of guy
and the Corvette is the only american car I would buy if I were to buy one.
Porsche is my thing, to me, in luxery cars, Porsche would be like an Aston Martin in a world filled with lambos and ferraris
It's not the fastest, but it looks and runs great

Re: Damn you Civic...
The ZR1 is a supercar, and eats other supercars for breakfast! And while Porsche's are a luxury item, they are sportscars. They are not designed to be smooth riding or luxurious. A buick is more luxurious than a Porsche!

Re: Damn you Civic...
I'm not a fan of muscle cars either.Just the classics. And yes, this thread needs a poll.Or you could just start a new thread on super cars/sport cars with a poll.A super car,is a GT-R.The different selections in engine performance, suspension, and traction control/LSD helps a lot. There's a race mode for all of these.Don't get me wrong though,to switch to race mode is very easy unlike the M3 and the M5.Damn M3's and M5's are complicated. The M3's and M5's have the "M" button which switches to race mode, but there's a whole lot of other crap you need to do if you don't want full on "M" mode.Anyways,in the GT-R has four switches.Push up to go into race.Push down again to go back to street.Quite easy wouldn't you agree?
