Hey my name is Lucas im from vancouver, canada i got my hands on a 92 civic SI HB its all stock but i have some big plans for it. i originaly am a domestic and 4x4 guy so the import scene is new for me but i like it.....
i do have one question my civic seems to have a problem after it warms up the idle goes up from 700 to 1100 and the check engine light comes on...i was thinking it might be a vaccume leak or somthing...if anyone whould know it be u guys on here.

As for the weird idle, plug an odb2 code reader into it and pull the code thats setting the CEL. Until you do that every post will just be a shot in the dark and you'll be attempting to fix many problems that dont exist. I'd pull the throttle body, clean it, and do an idle relearn to see if it goes away. You'll need a bottle of carb cleaner to get that build up off.

Roll through Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, Napa... whatever auto store you got out there, they should have one that they can use or let you barrow to diagnose whats wrong with your car... so in turn they can sell you parts to fix it!

Not all the stores but most of them. Also you guys misread, he said he has a 92. The 92 would be an OBD1. SO you cant scan it for codes.
The problem deff sounds like a vacuum leek off the intake mani though.
