Got Some Questions :)
Alrighty so I think it's obvious i'm new. Who else posts in the new member forums? >.>
I'm selling my current car for an older Civic. Better MPG, and I can pay off my credit card with the money left over.
I'm pretty sure I want a 95, cause that year seems to have the best MPG.
My question is, which of the trims HAS the best MPG?
I know the HB VX is like, godly when it comes to that, but I can't seem to find any for sale. EVER. Probably cause no one wants to let 'em go :P
That'd be my first choice if I could actually FIND one.
I've been looking over fuel economy websites which has helped thus far, but now i'm stuck.
One site told me that the Civic with EGR/2-VLV stuffies has the best MPG. I know what it means, but what trim comes with it?
What's the MPG for an EX?

Re: God Some Questions :)
The miles per gallon of an older car is going to be tremendously different from the specifications you read online, those are under optimal conditions. Older cars that have bad head gaskets, leaks, imperfect cylinders, bad timing are all going to lose fuel efficiency. Any newer car will probably go through less gas.

I'm sure i'll have to do a bit of work to it. Not expecting to get a maintanence free car ;P
So ya, i'm pretty sure I have to have a VX. But from what I can tell, it's gonna be pretty hard to find one that hasn't been modified or totalled.
If any of ya happen to know someone selling a near stock 95 VX, send 'em my way

Look at the honda insight!

The Insight earned an EPA mileage estimate of 70 miles per gallon in highway driving, 61 mpg city.

I'm trying to save money. Sell my car, use half of it to buy something economical, and the other half to get out of debt.
Stupid credit card

Thanks for the suggestion though. I'd love one if I could afford it
