why is the 7thgen engine not being swaped
I have noticed there are many used, very low mileage d17vtec engines avalible from recyclers at very low price. Are they too difficult to swap into older cars for some reason.
Could it be the security technolgy?

well think about it, for older cars alot of the guys go for the b series motors which are hevily supported with aftermarket goodies. the good ole d17 lacks plenty in that department though.
