Rubber seal doesn't fit aftermarket headlights -- what to do?
Bought a smoked headlights that look like the stock headlights except smoked but the problem is that the stock rubber seal the goes around the main bulb doesn't actually fit and it doesn't come with its own rubber seal. I know it's important to get a good fit to prevent condensation and fogging inside the light, and there's no way that rubber seal is going to fit the new light at all securely. Do I have any options besides put my old lights in? Do aftermarket lights typically include custom rubber seals that are designed to fit them?

Will the bulb stay in place and not rattle around without the rubber seal?
Lube the opening where the rubber seal needs to slide?
Headlights are not sealed, they are vented.

Thanks, I never really understood the condensation issue with regards to the rubber seals. The issue with the rubber is that the seal "snaps" into place around the bulb opening in the stock headlight housing but not at all in the aftermarket headlight, it just will not stay put at all. I suspect it just isn't going to work and so I spent $400 to get new stock headlights... at least they'll be nice and clear (my old ones are 12.5 years old now).
