i dont know if anyone else has noticed but silverstars for the 9004 headlights is nothing like a silverstar of a 9005. the color temperature isnt the same and its barly even different from stock. but at the same time i dont want to go blue either. i want a happy meidum.
im curious to see what you guys use in your headlights besides HID's cause if i had the money to do a proper retrofit i wouldnt be asking this question.
ive heard names which i cant remember off the top of my head but if i wanted to purchase new headlights and be able to see better and brighter and whiter than stock what would u guys suggest?..
like i said i want to be able to see more and still look good. but i dont want to pay for HID's just yet.

any clear bulb will be brighter than coated bulb. the +50 seems to be the top choice and alot of company makes em. but they are boring lol. philips also has a +80 that is in H4 but it wasnt that much different. the best gain i got was using the catz zeta booster ballasts which up the voltage to 15.4v constant going to the bulbs. they also never dim anymore. i am running the catz rev white bulbs now which give pure white ground light, and yellow tints near the cutoff. not as bright as clear bulb, but i like how it looks
and for comparison, here is +50 and +80 philips bulbs
