Quick question about new bulbs

If anyone has these lights or know someone who has these lights...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...99612791QQrdZ1

...how much brighter than stock are they?

Reason why I ask is because I recently tinted my headlights and I think I did 'em a little too much. So I wanna get new bulbs without the hassle of some off the wall retro. Thanks for the input.

Re: Quick question about new bulbs

uum well its hard to tell. ive been through sets and sets of these "xenon" bulbs and ive never had even decent light output. they were alright at night but throw some bad weather they were horrible. i have GP thunder bulbs, had them for a few months they are 100/90 watt. they're tinted blue but look awesome and i can actually see. but they fade and loose their light output overtime, so im probably going to throw my silverstars back in, but they actually look like HID's
heres a link

good luck
heres what they look like on my car.

I was thinking about the silverstars, but it says they only put out 55W of light. Whereas the ones we both posted put out 80 or 100 watts. How are the silverstars brighter?

silverstars are wierd they arent exactly brighter. they have a coating similar to the cheap blue bulbs, but they are made right. they arent tinted enough to make them burn out but it makes the light output go slightly whiter than stock, making them appear brighter. i liek silverstars, i just wish they made a better bulb design for my h4's some you can really tell cause the bulb is almost purple in the package... but h4's are barley even tinted. oh well.

Re: Quick question about new bulbs

HID's are nice but no matter what you do you will never have the output of an HID headlight. silverstars or philips x-treme or something along the lines of that are also good. the more K you have the less light output your going to get. a good output is usually around 5000-6000K anymore more will simply only light up the road a nice shade of blue and make it extremely difficult to see in rain.

silverstars or the philips I'd go with.
