HID gone bad
HID gone bad
car is an em2 with a H4 low beam Mcculloch HID kit that came with an built in glare shield. the install went fine but the results were a nightmare!...

ive seen some 7thgens with HIDs in their OEM housings and they looked fine but i guess mine was just a bad cookie. i wanted to remove the built in glare shield and buy a better one (caspers) but its not removeable. whether i aim them higher or lower, the same amount of glare is put out. instead of selling the kit or wasting more money on bulbs, i was thinking of purchasing some TYC headlamps since i wanted some. i would like to know if my h4 hid kit will fit the tyc black headlamps? what modifications are needed?

thanks for any help guys

the TYC's done use H4's the H4 is a high low beam and all projectors use on oe the other. its most likley an H7. you best bet is to sell the kit and get one for the TYC's i want to do that but im still not sold on after market projector headlights unless its a retrofit.
