I put d2s bulbs in my OEM housings. I get flashed quite often. I used to think of it as simply a nuisance, but I'd hate for someone to have an accident over it...

That was a really informative video; however, they didn't mention anything about kits that have the bulb shield and if that helps to prevent glare. Also alot of ppl say you have to aim the lights lower.. nevertheless, I still keep hearing mixed reviews over this HID debate.

OEM reflectors are not design for hids so no matter what u put in their still gone have some glare....
its a good idea to lower the light after installing any kind of hids in stock reflector..

I've driven past cops multiple times, I've been flashed from time to time but not daily.. I dont think it's a big deal.. I see glare from stock HIDs too, it's not that big of a deal.

the only crappy factory hids ive seen were those toyota prius' and another hybrid/gas saver vehicle i cant remember.

and speaking of d2s and d2r...
D2R = equipped with glare shield hence meant for halogen reflector OEM housing
D2S = equipped without glare shield and meant for projectors/OEM hid.
hopefully it sounds correct because im trying to figure out which h4 based mcculloch hid kit i need for my OEM headlamps

I have been blinded by Factory Acura TL HIDs quite often. Worse glare than even my aftermarket ones. I believe it is just a focussing of the headlight that is needed. And yes, I have focussed my headlights quite low and have not been flashed since.
