I could've sworn it was against the law to impersonate a police official.....and doesn't it have a pretty hefty fine/sentence?

Rep Power: 230 It is only illegal if you are moving. Atleast that is the law in Florida, you might want to check your local and state laws before you do that. I knew a guy that had an STi with blue led strobes in his headlight housing and I have to admit it looked alright. But He said he gets fvcked with by the cops all the time cause they know he has them.

Rep Power: 787 it would be neat i guess, but no real purpose. im sure you could buy a flasher kit but then it would only do that and not have turn signals. people have those at shows, like ones that make the signals flash really show like twinkle and also make them flash side to side. but the cops dont have anything like that, its just the strobe light flashing behind the turn signal lens.

Rep Power: 256 It's not that hard... You just need the kit. Do some research on Wig-Wag lighting. (that's the technical name for the flashing you want). There's a site that I was looking at a while ago, in fact at the time I posted something here about wanting to do a DIY for it. unfortunately no real responses.
You can find the kits on ebay too. If you can pull off a DIY let me know, this is something I've wanted to do for a long time... I think it'd look bad *** cuz I've got hyper blinkers too...

Rep Power: 787 there are led taillights for the 6thgen coupes that look stock and have all sorts of patterns programmed in and even leds that move toward the direction of the turn. its pretty neat.

Rep Power: 0 hmm, xenon storbes would workk,
it would be cool for a show car,
and it is a felony to impersonate a police officer,
in cali you cannot use those type of lights (code 3 lights) on the road, private property is allowed though.
check out http://www.galls.com/category2.html?...talog&cat=2699
for diff type of lights of that nature

Rep Power: 296 Cheap DIY:
1. Perform DIY hyperblinkers.
2. Flick the signal switch up and down like you're satisfying yourself and you'll have the same effect.
G H E T T O...but hey, it works don't it?
