these projectors look better in design, but the turn signal reflector looks so cheap compared to tyc's (and it's hard for the light to even be seen from the side). they will almost be guaranteed to leak, so don't put em on before you take 'em apart and reseal em.

well ya its for retrofit, they're coming apart, and i have sidemarkers that come on with park lights, so sidelight is not an issue. and actually the refector has a hole to let light out from the signal bulb. i'll prolly use amber bulb and keep it simple. either 7443, or 7440 and amber 194 for the same spot.

stock blacked out? teh suck, even with upgrade harness and +50 bulbs. the tyc were brighter til one of the projector just fell over, and i gave up trying to fix and just sold off the parts.

this whole project should be starting in a couple weeks, i am prolly gonna use amber bulb, and just remove the halo and clear bubble dome on the signal part. and prolly find a chrome ring to put in place of halo.

I did that exact setup with the earlier model projector headlights. Used Audi S4 projectors. Member Olytrojan has them now and they're painted NBP on the insides.. I think he never put them on so they sit in his bedroom...

sweet i was trying to find a chrome ring to use instead of the halo piece cause if you take it off there all sorts of holes on the back plastic. the hole for the projector looked really small too but i guess they fit.

Yeah should work just fine. You can always use black putty for the holes or simply paint the things.
