does anyone know if theres an easy way to wire sidemarkers to REAR turn signal. i dont want them to come on with the DRL anymore being they're too dim and different color now.

Couldent you just wire them into the headlights so they only flash when you put your blinker on, like they should be? lol

Hmm, im just trying to think. If you wire them to the actual blinkers, wouldent that prevent them from being on when the DRL's are on? like mine are tapped right into the blinker wire about an inch from the headlight.

see though, the DRL is actually the signal in constant bright mode. its the new kind not the old hibeam 6v crap. its wired directly to the turn signals so the only way around that is tap to the rear signal wiring.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm used to DRL's meaning the actual headlight, like in american cars, or the parking lights for some imports. :-/

ya eventually everythings gonna be amber signal drl i think. its already been proven to be more effective, it costs less, uses less wattage, wastes less gas, easier to see, etc. already gm, saturn, and a few other companies have em on cars and trucks. alot of older vans are getting them installed too for safety, and many big rigs have it.

Yeah it's true. I've seen a few GM's with DRL's that run from an amber piece, not necesarily from the headlight, and I can see it much better than a normal headlight. Amber > all, thats all
