Review your light bulbs!
If you guys have aftermarket bulbs, here is your chance to rate them!
Name of bulb and function on car: the manufacturer and bulb name, and the size.
Light output: brightness, 1 to 5 with 5 being more light than stock
Light color temp: how the bulbs look, white, blue, yellow, etc.
Lifespan: How long did they last you?
Cost: economy or small fortune
Weather performance: how do they work in rain, snow, etc.
I'll start first
bulb type Sylvania cool blue H4, brightness 3 slightly less than stock, color around 3800k white, lasted 2 years, $30 pair, terrible in rain.
bulb type Osram silverstar H1, brightness 5 better than stock, color slightly whiter for being clear bulb, lifespan unknown but less than normal, $35 pair, excellent in rain and fog.
bulb type Osram super H3, brightness 5, whiter than stock for clear bulb, unknown life, $30 pair, good in rain.
bulb type raybrig 2x hyper clear 194/168, brightness 5 double the stock output, color much whiter, lifespan over a year, $15 pair. For parking lights, they light up the ground at night.

Light output should be split into 2 for headlight bulbs.
1 for how bright it looks when looking at the car.
1 for how much light it emits on the road.
Alot of people mix up the 2 and end up recommending crappy APC blue bulbs because it looks bright when you stare at the car yet it emits no useful light on the road.

Philips Vision Plus H1, brightness 5 better than stock, nice white with blue cutoff in projector, seeing extremely well both dry and wet.
Philips Vision Plus H4, in stock housing, brightness 5, color whiter with more yellowish vs H1, seeing extremely well both dry and wet.
Philips Blue Vision H4/H1, brightness 2 less than stock, color yellow with a little bit blue, seeing sucks.
*Philips 85122 D2S in Valeo projector, brightness 5 better than stock, color white with blue cutoff, seeing extremely well both dry and wet.
*Philips 85122+ CM D2S, brightness 5 better than stock, color white with purple on top of blue cutoff, seeing extremely well both dry and wet.
*I feel that the brightness of HID and helogen from viewing inside the car isn't much difference, except that HID has a much wider and farther beam pattern. This is a different story from looking at the outside of the car anyway.

well its hard to match, you can get a raybrig 2x platinum white 194 for the park lights and then run some sylvania cool blue for headlight. theyre both around 3800k same color temp. heres a shot of the raybrigs in the plate lights. as you can see its a nice pure white and not a ricey white like polarg.
