awesome! can't wait to see the results. also, make sure you know which side projector you need. the LS430 projectors are directional, so if you have a drivers side projector, you will NEED a passengers side projector.

i'm actually thinking of doing a LS430 retrofit into my miata. well...it will be special (think bi-xenon with clear lens and color mod).

Do you own the liquor store, or just work there? Every picture you've ever posted has been from the liquor store.. I'd almost guess that you live there too! LOL

can you give us 7thgen locals nice discounts? I buy a lot of booze around the holidays (basically gifts for people) so a one-stop discount shop would be really nice. Extra booze for all.

Results are looking terrific!

I recently purchased some Halo projector headlights for my car (ebay, $200 with shipping) and they look great when installed but the light output is questionable since

1) I'm a first timer and this is my first actual mod to my car so I'm not 100% sure what type of results I should expect or have gotten

2) The cutoff looks a bit funny but legal and not blinding (did it by measuring 25 feet, distance from floor to center of projector lense and adjusted it

My question for you since you've obviously been playing with projector lenses lately is:

Do the projector lense themselves create a difference in the quality of the light output? is it the housing? the bulbs? or combination mainly?

Because my lights don't look a fraction as great as yours are coming along thus far.

Once again, hats off to you for an awesome job so far, can't wait to see the finished results and fully installed.

usually people who complain about halogen light output from projectors have not aimed them properly. when i got mine, one of the lights was pointing 45 degrees to the right and zero light was on the ground from it. so i had to adjust the left/right beam and also the up/down cause it was also aimed too high. one side came perfect tho somehow. and here this should help.

http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=266457

also if there is no color at your cutoff line, either the aim is off or you need to mod the projector. You can take them apart and either put some wahsers to move the shield closer to the bulb, or bend the shield back towards the bulb. I did that for my fogs and look.
