now THIS is a dash light retrofit :)
four ultra bright pink leds wired in series and pointing straight up to the light guide. Soldered directly to the circuitboard for plug and play. if anyone wants, I can do this for $50. best way to go imo and you get nice even lighting.

i'm still waiting on the whole console so i can see how it looks all put together. I did the same for the bottom buttons by replacing each bulb with a set of 4 leds.

for some reason the pink isn't very bright cause the white buttons kinda filters it. but should get the job done. idk how that other guy is selling those kits with only ONE led pointing sideways! they need to be facing upward which is why i think my pnp idea isn't gonna work. in which case i'll stick to doing retrofits. do you think $50 is a good price for sending in pieces for a retro? its just that it takes so long to get everything made and fitted, and the leds are expensive since i'm 16 of em for the console.

this is for my business. I'm offering pink, white, blue, green, and orange for anyone that wants it. I have the red/amber bulb lighting in my own car.

the best part is everything is plug and play cause the leds are wired directly to the board. no new wires to run and they are 4x brighter.

no, i would have to do it all myself. the leds have to be mounted and secured (and wired) inside the cluster, over 30 of em in most cases and lots of soldering. there is no way to make any kind of kit. i'll have a few dash pics in a bit...

well i'm offering it as a service so you send the pieces in, i mod em and send it back. But I should have a plug and play kit where i send you all four bulbs with leds and resistors already in em, so you just replace yours with these. They would only be for white tho.

$50 for the retro. i'll try a red and let you know. I'm gonna try and come up with some way of sending just the bulbs so you dont have to ship your pieces to me.

I'll ship it to you. I have an extra dash I'm sure... either way. I'd go blue but I'd need to find an 03+ Sedan with blue guages....

okay well i don't have any red leds as of now. and if you wanted to wait, i'm working on an 03+ sedan cluster to make everything blue. maybe if it still works you might want it..
