Halo Projector Headlights
Halo Projector Headlights
I want to get a new look for my headlights without clearing or tinting them. Any one have these? They have 3 places the bulbs can go.

What is the difference with these cause I see four places the bulbs can go? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-03...49213606QQrdZ1
If it is using the stock bulbs and harness then how can there be four places for the bulbs?

they're different headlights. they use different bulbs than stock, but should come with a proper adapter to use with your stock wiring harness.
the main difference between those two headlights is that one of them has only a turn signal reflector whereas the other has turn signal and parking light reflector. you don't really need the parking light, but it's good to just plug it in to something. it's your choice which headlight to choose.

the one that looks like it had only one reflector actually still uses two parking lights. they just go in the same hole (one in middle and one to the left).
the light output is horrible. my friend had those and could barely see at night.

i can imagine the light output being horrible.
headlamp
I have that exact same head lamp for my civic and the main headlight is halogen and the high beams came with the lamp the parking and turning lights are the only light I kept. and the halo's has wires for it and the socket is integrated with the high and low beam so there is really not much problem for me installing it and yes it does work. Well I am having trouble getting the halo lights to work (didn't know where to hook them up to)

The thing is...i dont feel like spending the money for projectors with halogen bulbs and find out that I cannot see anything at night. Cant afford having a deer run in front of me and hit it coz of my headlights

my tyc projectors are very bright. it just has a different beam pattern like a W shape instead of big blob. Actually in those areas it has more light on the ground and also alot more side and bottom light (like having fog lights turned on).

Yeah I am a bit worried since I don't want to not see anything at night and if the stock headlights are brighter then that defeats the purpose.. I want a new look for the headlights so anyone have any other suggestions?

i am working on something...but the halogen tyc with osram silverstar clear bulb is very bright to me. It is whiter and outshines most stock halogen on the road so i'm pretty happy. the only other way is get some nice fogs, with yellow bulbs to see better, which is what I'm working on. secret project for now.

They looked good after I put a ton of work into em including Audi S4 HID's. Olytrojan has them now, not in his car. PM him and he might sell em

Those ARE the same ones and no I'm not selling them. Member Olytrojan has them. PM him. They are not on his car. You'd need Ballasts and D2R or D2S bulbs. I did the retrofit and had the insides painted NBP.
Crack kills... But then again... So do I...

I hated them... I had them for almost a year and it wasn't a major problem because I had fogs as well, but when I put on the body kit, I lost my fogs and couldn't see jack. I was driving around with my hi-beams just to see the road, and that was with Silvanian Silverstars in both the projectors and hi-beams(almost $55 for two bulbs). 2 weekends ago I went back to my cleared stocks. Probably the best choice I could have made... Do yourself a favor and don't get them... While they look decent on the car they suck major ***...
Sidenote. Your best bet to connect the halos would be to either splice them into the parking lights, or run a switch into your car to turn them off and on as you see fit.
