Appears to be an amber bulb inside of the headlights housing (the drivers side bulb can be seen) The color is the same as the parking lights. The Mazda 626 has a similar look with white light.
I want to do something similar, just don't want to drill into housing.

Yeah..those are his city lights..They are mounted in there seperatley, so he has full control over his parking lights, city lights, and head lights.
Yeap..and heres a quote from him..

Yes ^ Just as he said, They are city lights, in Japan they have these. 02civic_rida hooked it up so that when he turns the headlights on the city light automatically turn off. You don't have to do this but its nice to do so you don't have both running. Just be careful when drilling the holes out for the sockets and make sure you use silicon to seal the up when your finished or your gonna have to much fog in there your gonna lose your mind.

Man you lost me at the end ^. You can manually turn them off if you want. Just wiring them to a switch. Hope this helps.

02civic_rida, if you hate wiring then your gonna hate wiring it up the way Nick done it. He wired up to a relay so when his headlights turn on the city light automatically turn off. Hope this helps! good luck
