What bulbs are used for our projector headlights? I think it's H1 but I just want to make sure. Thx.

the aftermartket projector headlights made for 2001-2003 7thgens use h1. 2 per housing making a grand total of 4 H1 bulbs to be bought.

If 01-03 uses H1, i'm guessing 04-05 uses H1 also? And does the high beam use H1 too?
My gf had her projectors installed a few months ago and now she can't see crap. So she wants HID. Argghhh women....

im not sure about the 2004/2005 projectors

just wanna clear up my post above because i thought you were just getting regular bulbs. the kit will come with 2 bulbs, but there will still be a socket for highbeam in each housing. I guess you just plug it with regular H1 bulbs? I dunno how HID systems go with 7thgen projector. not even sure if the bulbs will fit since hid bulbs are longer or larger than regular h1 or something. there were a lot of hid retrofitting threads...

My guess would be to put back on the stock OEM headlights and buy an H4 size HID kit instead.

Ya i told her to put the OEM back in and i can replace the bulbs easily, but she likes the projector looks with the halo ring thingy.
I have no idea how these bulbs look like, but according to ebay, it looks like this. So I guess you just hook the wire where the old one was.
Damn this is just as confusing as women are. I guess i could put in halogens, she won't know the difference. Hehe
