Replacement HID Bulb Question
Replacement HID Bulb Question
I have had the XenonDepot HID 4300k kit since September 04. Some doubted if the bulbs were truly Phillips, who knows, but they are still shining brightly.
Anyway, I need to ask the question incase one of them went out. Would any replacement bulb work, or would I have to have one from XenonDepot in order for it to fit in the harness correctly?

if your bulbs use a p32d base, then yes, any OEM replacement bulb would work. if it has 2 wires coming out of the base of the bulb, then you have to find another bulb that has 2 wires coming out of it. this is the downfall of the HID kit. if and when you need new bulbs, they cost over half as much as the entire kit costs. whereas OEM replacement bulbs cost $75 for both bulbs.
so chances are that you're going to have to hope that xenondepot doesnt shut down.
