Headlight Aiming

2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe (not sure if that means much here, maybe there are differences?)

I recently installed my Phillips HID kit. I took delivery of my Civic a week earlier and I didn't notice that the headlights were not level. With the HIDs lit, it becomes more apparent that my beams are not level. I check the Owners Manual, and much to my surprise, the manual directs me to get it serviced at the dealership! What's next? Oil changes at dealerships only?!

Anyway, I believe I found what's the adjustment ****, I'm just looking for affirmation. There's a little **** that can be adjusted using a philips screw driver in each headlight assembly. Is this correct? What direction raises the beam? Is there a left/right adjustment also? I can't lower myself to taking my Honda to a dealership to get something this mundane serviced.

yea thats it, u found it but coupes do not have a side to side adjuster, the part u see only adjusts them up and down, right is up, left is down, theres a DIY on here also and u couldve just searched it also where the other 50 million people asked the same question

if you have a sedan, then you MIGHT have left/right adjustment. otherwise, tough luck aiming horizontally. only up/down adjustment is available, afaik.

I've come to realize after my years of experience with these so called "search" features just return garbage that's completely unrelated to what I'm trying to find. And yes, I should've posted that before. I spent a solid half-hour trying to find this info on this board. Same crappy search result, not one return had anything to do with aiming headlights.

I'm getting sick of the fact that every search I do on here, comes back with that stupid "LONDON PEEPS" thread....
