Lost a wire.

Ok, I am installing the fog lights, it tells me to run the wires along the fender (inside it) pop the plastic gromet, put the wires in. Then After I tear the interior apart, (I 90% of the dash is apart) It tells me to find the harnass I put thru the hole. I have no idea where this wire went to. Used flashlights to double check, even put cat 5 in the hole, figured maybe then I could find it. nope. Where do the wires come out?

it should be near the very front of the firewall from inside the cabin in the passenger footwell. it's waaaaaaaay deep inside and you will hurt your hands if you try and reach into it (i tried it, but gave up. i used a coat hanger, instead.). just keep fishing around in the corner at the top of the passenger footwell, but go deep in.

Actually, I used a different hole. The directions said to use the hole on the bottom. I decide the one where there are two holes worked better. Used Cat5e to check the hole first. Since I have the interior apart. I am thinking of running cat5e cables for future use. You can use cat5e for low voltage use. (Its saved my rear a few times) Deciding on a few spots where to put it, so If I need it, I won't have to tear everything apart again.
