Best fog lights?
This thread really is not that old...I was waiting for the DIY. I have a pretty good idea how it should work though. It'll be an all day, maybe two day task for me. I've never gotten into the dash on this car before, so it may take me a while to route through the firewall and mount the switch and find all the factory harnesses that are in the car right now. I'll probably be waiting until the spring to do this....unless I get a few warm days when I have time off work.

set aside a day and a half for this project if you have never cut through plastic before. if you have a dremel, set aside a day. you will want to combine some of the existing DIYs that we have in order to fully understand what goes where, through which hole and how.
here's mini-diy:
1. read the directions that are given to you by the manufacturer thoroughly. if you get a sheet of directions with just 1 picture, then you're SOL, like me. i had to improvise my front bumper cut out and the wiring harness had to be extended. they never told you this in the directions because...well...1 picture.
2. disconnect the negative terminal on your battery. take off the front bumper and lay it grill side up on a clean, soft, preferrably padded surface.
3. get your dremel/cutting tool out. skip step 4 if you used a dremel/proper cutting tool. i used a power drill with a smaller drill bit and drilled a poopload of holes in the fog light location.
4. then take a utility knife and cut through the smaller holes in order to get a properly sized hole for the fog light assembly.
5. fit the fog light assembly and secure it with screws (should be included with kit).
6. repeat steps 3-5 for the other side.
7. make sure the wiring harness is all there. there should be a connector where the wiring harness is supposed to go through the firewall and into the cabin.
8. take off the passenger front wheel well lining and shove the connector/wire through one of the holes inside the wheel well (i refer to this area as the firewall even though it's not). you'll have to feel your way through this step because it wasn't easy to look inside my wheel well when i was installing the lights (night time + rushed cause my parents were like "wtf are you doing!")
9. the wire is not lost behind your ecu. take out the glove box compartment (follow instructions in the Civic manual) and fish around for the connector. once you have located it, pull it towards you and fish it through to the center console.
10. use common sense and connect appropriate connectors to each other.
11. put front bumper back on.
12. turn lights on.
13. if you are of age, drink a beer. if you are under 21 in the US or 19 in most of Canada, find a refreshing beverage and drink it.

where did you get the K2Motors lights from? if you got them off ebay did they come with the OEM switch? i the person sellin them if it came with the switch and he ain't said anything and that was about a week ago.
Mine did not, but apparently it would not have fit anyway. I bought the OEM switch for like $17.....I think total I spent less then $50....very reasonable.
As long as I am successful with the install.

Hi! I'm planning to buy some of the OEM Fog lights from ebay... Which one is better? The ones that come with H11 bulbs? Or the ones with H3 bulbs?
Am I correct that the ones that comes with the real Honda OEM Fog Lights are H11 bulbs?
And one more question... Would I be able to put some HIDs in the either housing if I ever decide to get HIDs for them? Thanks!
