I remember I once installed the casper kit.....m.....Coupe model doesn't really fit because of the size of the front cap inside the housing, it's just too small.....Sedan headlight, I tried, is better, but the spacing between the cap and the reflector is too great, I got hot at least 2 hot spots on each side of the light, where I can see the burning filament from an angle in front of the car......Too bad....

Yes, may be I am the only one...ha...I still have the shields with me that I put black hi-temp paint on it already....It made some yellowish white color from the reflector....But as I said, I don't like the 2 points on each side that I really can see the burning gas....Just too much glare when looking at it...

Another problem is that you really want the bulb's return line to be exactly vertical, so got to put the shield in first, then the bulb....

no xtex is not philips. philips is philips. on ebay, everything is philips, so don't get it from ebay cause they're all lying sacks of ****.

in the link that is NOT a philips product. philips comes ONLY IN D2S OR D2R. no other base.

Basically I fit OEM Osram Xenarc D2R (with grey shield, right?) into Casper....It turns out to be completely blue initially, then as it brightens, slowly turns yellow, and more yellow...

Are you telling us what happened or are you hypothetically guessing what would happen?

I'd rather buy from casper...with a turkey baster you have to measure and buy a dremel to cut it.

ebay works. just make sure you get the proper socket for the ballasts (p32-d - looks like a circle. it does not have 2 connectors for the bulb). or you could try www.hidplanet.com

go to hidplanet...it'll prretty much answer all your questions. questions like this has been answered over there over and over again. From what i read valeos output the most light for its size. There are projectors that output more light, for example the s2000 projectors, but they would be difficult to install.

valeo will fit. trust me. i had both projectors at one time and i will tell you now that if you buy the bosch single xenon (or bi-xenon) you will not be able to fit it into the tyc headlights without major modification. valeos slide in.
