TYC and CATZ HID kit?
I have a chance to get a new CATZ HID kit derectly from friend of mine living in Japan. I heard lots of good about that kit, but I wanna know if anybody drives civic with TYC projectors and CATZ kit in it.
How would be difficult to install that kit?
Any problem with HID bulbs? Do they fit well into TYC?
I just wanna figure out what would be better for me h4 with hi-lo beams or h11 with TYC projectors?
Thanks for any input

TYC uses H1. Just an FYI before you make your friend send you useless bulbs.
Catz, in general, has a very good reputation in the aftermarket HID world, but regardless of reputation, I would never recommend a kit - especially if it is going into the TYC projectors. There are better ways to get more light out on the road, unless you're "upgrading" to HID solely for the color. The color, might I add, is a byproduct of a high quality, OE projector - NOT THE BULBS.
I would highly suggest the H4 high/low beam kit and put it in your stock headlights. Ask gearbox his opinion on Catz's H4 high/low kit.

If you really want hid projectors, I would find someone that can do a retrofit. Its about the same price as the catz kit anyway. The H4 kit I had cost $600, and was very very good. It looks just like stock in halogen housing except 3x brighter. Yes catz is awesome, but really I would just do the retrofit in those tyc.
thanks for input. i`ve an idea to use CATZ with TYc I already bought, but you`re sayin that TYC wont work with any kits, right. Is it some sort of problem with TYC or what. I know I can do a retro=fit but it`s a lillbit too expensive for me right know, maybe in future I`ll go for it, now I just wanna upgrade my lightoutput.

well those projectors weren't really made for an hid aftermarket kit. but the kit IS made for stock reflector housing. Imo, you prolly wouldn't notice much difference other than the light being whiter color.
