04 dash light
I have the australian model Gli. even at full brightness it still doesn't compare to the tsx brightness. They seem to be hyper white or sumthing, whereas mine look whitish/green...any ideas? Is it easy to change the leds to hyper whites or ones that are whiter?
In the pic the dash looks really white but in life it look more like the centre console light...you know the whitish/green/yellow look....I wanna change it so they all hyper white....i guess led is the only way?
this is the 04 guage in the aus model....the **** is at full brightness...a full swap to what because i need the guage to be compliant with australian regulations...that is with speedo in km/h...and yes I have searched....

sorry to steal your thread a bit but anyone with the 04-05 ex gauge cluster notice that if u adjust the brightness w/o the headlights on its helluva lot brighter but when u turn on the headlights it is dimmer. just a lil wierd

^it's for safety at night. when the headlights are on, the car thinks that you're driving at night. when you're driving at night, you want as little light directly in front of your face as possible, becasue your eyes adjust to the brightest light source available. if that happens, then you won't be able to see down the road...
