H7? D2s?
H7? D2s?
Hey guys/gals!
Ok soo I got my H7 Valeos on the way from infinite. Thank You infinite!!
OK my question is theres a member on the board that is selling his HB7 HID Kit. Will that fit into the H7 Valeos without modification? Or should I just stick with the Xtec Kit? How do I get the xtec to fit into the H7? The xtecs are D2S bulbs right?

Whats the difference? Cuz the guy is selling what he calls HB7 HIt kit, and for only 170 shipped...its easier on my wallet for now. If it works average that will make me happy until I have an urge to upgrade.
Ok...I was thinking and I need someone to help me clarifty this stuff.
I have the H7 valeos, and now looking to get the Hid Kit. As impulse says the kits come in H1, H3, H4, H7, 9006, 9007 etc blah blah blah. Now I want the D2S bulbs for my projectors, but what does this mean? I get a hid kit that comes with H4 bulbs...then I go out and get adapters so that the D2S bulbs can fit on the hid kit?
Explain to me how this works....
Thanks,
Boggie1688

you are getting the adapters with the h7 that i am shipping.
log on to hidplanet.com/forums again and read up in the education (?) forum on how to adapt your D2S bulb to the H7 socket. it's really easy and takes all of 5 minutes to do.
btw, the H7-D2S adapters alone are worth $18 shipped, so you are basically getting everything for free

Nice nice....you and turtle are great people. Turtle is going to hook me up with his old bulbs and a pair of OEM mitsubishi ballast for $150. Thats everything I need to get my retrofit going. I'm soo freaking excited....but worried at the same time because I've never undertook such an involving project.
LoL...I need to get it done fast, hopefully in one weekend. Me and turtle are going to be working on it (thanks turtle) . He has work on weekdays and I have school. We haven't worked out how we are going to meet to work on the headlights though...
