the halo = the ring. you can replace the LEDs but that requires opening the headlights. i don't think you're quite ready for that yet, considering you don't know what the halo is...
I've had both Sonar and the twin halo projectors on my car all of them are complete ****!! I mean I had problems fogging up, glare and simply mediocre light output, I am yet to try TYC which works best with or without HID at least what I've heard so I was stubborn and didn't listen what I've been told "projectors only look good" and now I finally agreed.

the halo ring is lit up with LEDs. read the posts above your own and you will see that we [probably] already answered that question.
"the bulb in the middle" is the low beam projector.

I got the sonar's and they looks clean but the problem is you gotta aim the projectors. Remember that they don't usually come preaimed and aiming them can become a hassle. Another thing one of my halos started tripping the other day. While it's on my left halo blinks rapidly i think it might be going out.
ok wait..so my complete understanding of this is that halos look nice but suck ***??...anyway..cuz i was thinking about getting them but if they die out quickly then no point in getting them...but my real question is..if i get projector lights...can i use the same stock bulbs?...or do i have to get projector bulbs..if there are any..lol... oh ps there gonna be crappy ebay projectors..cuz there nice n cheap
..lol....anyway..thanks for any repsonse towards this all help is much apprieciated

oh ps...i was also thinking about getting the dual eyes also..instead of the single ones..its just they look so damn nice..damn that halo ring...if i regret getting them ill just have to remember one thing thank god i didnt spend the 200 like they sell them on websites..lol...LOVE YOU EBAY!
Dudes,
listen...the halo is just decorative and it's lit up by its own led bulb! It will have NO EFFECT on the brightness of the low and high beam bulbs if it burns out. Your low beam will always be the same brightness and can be replaced just like any other stock bulb when it burns out.
FYI, your projector will use H1 bulbs instead of the stock H4's. One H1 for the low beam and another H1 for the high beam. H1's are much smaller so they tend to be kind of dim. I'm using Sylvania silverstars in mine and they're about as bright as you can get for H1's, IMO. Like others have said, Projectors look good but they don't light up the road all that great so think about what you want to achieve when buying/installing projectors (either looks, or functionality, but you can't get both!)

apparently you're new to the forum. welcome, my friend. i am the third or fourth member to have retrofitted his aftermarket projector headlights with OEM projectors, ballasts, and bulbs. you can have both looks and functionality if you do a retrofit.

lol i'm just being an ***. but yeah, projectors and functionality go together very well if you use the right equipment. it's just a matter of if you want to spend more money or not
