not really, just time consuming. I used the diy on this site and put silicone on the back to stick on the marker.

it will cost $20 for markers usually. I got mine from robearracing.co they are the j-spec clear kind. Other materials needed are radio shack sheet metal nibbler, drill, masking tape or post-it notes, level bubble, and maybe ruler and pen. Oh and silicone to attach and seal them to the paint. They look really nice at night just like the jetta, audi etc.

Those are nice. The only thing I don't like is the color doesn't match the front signals. Like the markers are a darker orange and the front signal is more of a yellow orange. But that's cause the bulbs are different 7443 vs 194.

personally, i like the clear ones like on gears on almost all colours, but ambers on white cars.
