An HID kit in TYCs will be fine but, you will have to enlarge the bulb opening in the back to allow the hid bulb to fit. The light output will be fine since you are using TYCs.
btw, I sell HID Kits,

I am planning on buying the 5000k Xtec kit from Impulse. But how much modification is required to get them to fit in to TYCs? How do you enlarge the opening? I was under the influence it was plug and play...
honestly, the light output is not good.TYC rojectors dont work well with HID kits, you gonna have plenty dark spots etc. check out hidforum.com fYI.
you can only swap lenses from the TYC projectors into the real xenon projectors such as: audi 4-6 or tt, bmw. That will work great.

Light output is decent, speaking from a halogen term, but its no where gunna be near the amount of light that you COULD have if you put a true xenon projector in there.Typically the ones that fit best in there are the Valeo's.
